Our Team
Ratha has been working for over 13 years of experience in teaching, research, consulting and project implementation for the development, private and public sectors in Cambodia, the majority of which were spent in the field of private sector development, especially focusing on SMEs. Moreover, he has been working directly for over 07 years of work experience focused specifically on the agri-business/agro-industry and Agri-food SMEs.
Since January 2019, Ratha has been the Director of the Cambodia Partnership for Sustainable Agriculture (CPSA), a small and dynamic non-governmental organization that was founded as a multi-stakeholder partnership for the improvement of the on the Agri-business/Agro-industry, Agri-food SMEs and Agri-preneurship in Cambodia, and ultimately of smallholder farmers’ livelihood and income. Primarily funded by DFAT, CPSA’s operation model is based on the coordination of Working Groups (WGs), which are voluntary grouping of stakeholders from private sector, government, farmer organizations, CSOs, INGOs and research institutes. In addition to that Ratha lead CPSA’s works on other cross-cutting issues such as, among the others, Contract Farming (jointly with MAFF Department of Agro-Industry) and Sustainable Investments in the Agro-Industry (in partnership with the Council for the Development of Cambodia). Other Ministries/government agency beside MAFF with whom Ratha collaborates regularly include the Ministry of Commerce (MOC), the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology, and Innovation (MISTI) and the Council Development of Cambodia (CDC).
Ratha holds a Dual Master’s Degree from IAE FRANCE – Écoles Universitaires de Management (Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management) and Université Lumière Lyon 2 (Entrepreneurship of Socio-Economic Projects).

LIDA PHAT
Operations and Finance Manager
Lida has been working in finance and operations for over 9 years, and she was among the first staff to join CPSA in early 2018. She is CPSA Finance and Operations Manager, and also offers ongoing support to the Working Groups and leads the organization’s activities in the area of gender mainstreaming.
SARIN TEY
Program Manager
Sarin supports CPSA’s programs focusing mainly on research, value chains, market linkages, contract farming, agribusiness and agritech solutions. Before joining CPSA, he worked for various organizations engaging in the area of environment, agriculture, business, and economic empowerment.
BORMEY CHY
Communications and Engagement Manager
Bormey joined CPSA in 2021. She leads CPSA communications work and coordinates the Working Groups. Before joining CPSA, she worked for NGO and institution in the education, communications and project management fields. She is excited to use her skills to contribute to the development of Cambodia’s agriculture sector .
MONYRATH CHAN
Senior Finance and Administration Officer
Monyrath graduated from the University of Cambodia majoring in Finance and Banking and has started working in the finance field for NGOs since then. She joined CPSA in 2021 in the Finance and Admin Department. She is excited to work with CPSA because CPSA provides opportunities to staff for capacity building and especially improves farmers’ profits and productivity while promoting environmental sustainability.
Soma Dann
Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
Soma joined CPSA in early 2022 and supports CPSA’s program mainly on monitoring and evaluation. After 4 years working for NGO and engaging in various valuable volunteer and community activities, he is more interested in using his abilities and skills to contribute to communities through the development of Cambodia’s agriculture sector. He is committed to positive learning, development, and growth with CPSA.
Makara Kim
Agricultural Cooperative Coordinator
With more than 12-year working experience, Makara is currently joining CPSA as an Agricultural Cooperative (AC) Coordinator for 03 Agricultural Cooperatives in Kampong Cham province including Akphiwat Srok Yoeung, Akphiwat Moulthan Yoeung, and Akphiwat Kasekor. Makara engages very closely with the locals by preparing and managing the overall bookkeeping and recording of ACs, improving market access for ACs, coordinating and facilitating in meetings, workshops, and training, developing business plans, providing capacity building for ACs and producer groups, and joining some assessments.
CHANSOMANITA MEUNG
Project Assistant
Chansomanita is a senior at the Institute of Foreign Languages majoring in International Studies. She developed her interest in social and community work after she did her volunteering work with various youth-led organizations. She’s a firm believer in making positive changes through constructive and respectful dialogue. She has a profound interest in smart and sustainable practices for the environment and youth empowerment. With her internship at CPSA, she is looking forward to growing with CPSA and making CPSA grow.
